DINCOTE captures Victor Flores Mendoza, support element in the murder of Colonel Tumba Ortega
On May 30, 1998, members of DINCOTE captured Víctor Flores Mendoza, alias "Jhony". The police determined that he participated in the assassination of PNP Colonel Manuel Tumba Ortega as a support element, in charge of transporting the weapons used by the attackers. His pseudonym appears in the tactical operational plan of the attack. He was transferred to the Special Marine Court for his trial for the crime of treason.
