Death of Olivia Fabian Jara

Olivia Fabian Jara was a leader of a political organization in Huanuco who died in 1998. Her case appears in the CVR database as one of the women leaders killed and/or disappeared during the internal armed conflict. Unlike many other documented cases, the person responsible for her death could not be determined with certainty. Her death is part of the context of systematic violence against social and political leaders, particularly women, that occurred in Huanuco during the years of the conflict.
