Eight people who had taken advantage of the law of repentance were killed by ronderos from Naranjillo in Shamiro in November 1995.

Ronderos from Naranjillo killed eight repentant people in Shamiro in November 1995. This occurred in the context of the application of the law of repentance, which had been increasingly successful between 1993 and 1994 in the region. Some repentants were subsequently killed by the peasant patrols themselves, as also happened in Las Palmas where ronderos killed two repentants in February 1994.
