Promulgation of Law 26447 - Reestablishment of criminal liability limits
Restoration of the age of criminal responsibility to 18 years of age
Law 26447, published on April 21, 1995, reestablished the limits of criminal responsibility as of 18 years of age. In addition, it reestablished the application of restricted imputability to those between 18 and 21 years of age. This law corrected the extension of criminal liability to minors established by Decree Law 25564.
