Arbitrary executions in Cayumba Chico
Army personnel arbitrarily executed three members of a family in Cayumba Chico, including a six-year-old girl who was raped before being killed.
On March 29, 1994, army troops arbitrarily executed the father, mother and six-year-old sister of a witness in Cayumba Chico. The younger sister was raped before being executed. This case is part of a pattern of sexual violence associated with arbitrary executions during military incursions in rural areas. The witness survived to give an account of these events.
