San Ignacio Court determines responsibility of three policemen for abuse of authority and injuries
The San Ignacio Criminal Court issued its Final Report determining that the crimes of abuse of authority and injury were proven, and that the accused César Coquis Coz, Antonio Benavides Samalvides and Óscar Rafael Villacrés Costa were criminally responsible. This report confirmed the human rights violations committed against the forest defenders during their arbitrary detention.
