Military Judge sentences four MRTA members to life imprisonment for Hiraoka kidnapping
On January 7, 1994, the Special Military Examining Judge sentenced Juan Francisco Sebastián Castillo Petruzzi, Lautaro Enrique Mellado Saavedra, Segundo Nemesio Alva Marín, and María Concepción Pincheira Sáez to life imprisonment for their participation in the kidnapping of Raúl Hiraoka Torres. Luis Astorga Valdez, Fortunata Leyva Quispe, Mirka Marleny de la Piedra Oliva, Jaén Mirla Salazar Ramos and Lucinio Dávila Bravo were tried in the ordinary courts.
