Peruvian drug trafficker Demetrio Chávez Peñaherrera captured in Colombia
Demetrio Chávez Peñaherrera, alias Vaticano, one of the Peruvian drug trafficking bosses, is captured in Cali, Colombia. He is subsequently referred to the military justice system and sentenced to life imprisonment.
