General Robles' denunciation of Colina detachment

General Robles denounced military command responsible for Barrios Altos; he was expelled and exiled

On May 6, 1993, General EP Rodolfo Robles Espinoza made public a letter accusing Army commanders of maintaining an operational command responsible for the Barrios Altos massacre and other crimes. This allegation backed up Congressman Henry Pease Garcia's earlier revelations about the existence of a DINTE Special Operations Team. The next day, Robles was expelled from the Army and had to seek political asylum in Argentina with his family.
