In 1993, communities affected by the violence began to reincorporate into society and resume their daily work activities. This process included the subsequent formation of organizational committees in 1995.
In 1993, after years of violence and confrontations, the communities began to reincorporate into society and resume their normal activities. A Huallhua informant, interviewed in Chungui, Ayacucho, relates how in that year they were able to return to work in peace. Later, in 1995, they formed a committee to organize themselves. This reincorporation process marked the end of a period of flight, displacement and constant confrontations that the communities had experienced.
