Transfer of Raul Hiraoka Torres to second captivity home
Hiraoka transferred to second captivity house in Surquillo due to police surveillance of MRTA members
At approximately 10:00 p.m. on September 23, 1992, Raul Hiraoka Torres was taken from the first building where he was being held captive to a second house located in Urbanizacion Aurora in Surquillo. He was blindfolded, handcuffed and a hood was placed over his head. This transfer was carried out as a measure of extreme urgency because some MRTA members were being watched by DINCOTE personnel. He remained there for two days guarded by Luis Astorga Valdez and Fortunata Leyva.
