MRTA kidnaps businessman, keeping him in wooden box for 38 days
Businessman Julio Enrique Uribe Tasayco was kidnapped at 8:30 a.m. at a commercial establishment on Circunvalación Avenue, San Luis. Two MRTA members wearing police uniforms and medical aprons entered the establishment and took him to a vehicle. During the captivity he remained in a completely closed wooden box approximately two meters long and one meter wide, blindfolded. The MRTA demanded a considerable sum of money from the family. He was released after 38 days of captivity in Los Sauces Avenue, Santa Anita.
