Forced recruitment of students and murder of teacher
Sendero Luminoso recruited 10-12 year old students and murdered the teacher who objected in Satipo.
The Shining Path took the older students, between 10 and 12 years old, to the bush. The teacher was told that after 3 months they would return them. The teacher objected and that is why they killed him. This testimony shows how the subversives entered schools to recruit children and killed teachers who tried to protect their students.
