Explosives attack against INCAFOR's camp in San Ignacio
Bomb attack on INCAFOR camp causes two deaths and several injured
At approximately 11:30 p.m., the INCAFOR S.A. camp, located in San Ignacio, was the victim of an explosive attack that killed two workers (Enrique Reyna Cruz and Narciso Agurto Guevara), injured several people and caused serious material damage. The following day, police officers arbitrarily detained ten residents of San Ignacio, several of them members of the Committee for the Defense of the Forests, falsely accusing them of being terrorists and perpetrators of the attack.
