Víctor Polay Campos, MRTA leader, captured in San Borja
Victor Polay Campos, alias Comrade Rolando, leader of the MRTA, is recaptured in a café in the Lima district of San Borja. He is later tried and sentenced to life imprisonment. This capture represents a significant blow against the MRTA leadership structure.
