Hugo Deodato Juárez Cruzatt, member of the PCP-SL Political Bureau, dies in the prison riot during the Mudanza Uno intervention. Other PCP-SL Central Committee members also killed in the prisons include Yovanka Pardavé Trujillo, Elvia Nila Sanabria Pacheco and Tito Valle Travesaño.
