Kidnapping and murder of 9 peasants in the Santa region

Colina Detachment kidnapped and murdered 9 Santa peasants on May 2, 1992

On May 2, 1992, the Colina detachment kidnapped and murdered 9 peasants from Santa. The victims were detained and then executed or disappeared. The victims' relatives filed Habeas Corpus appeals that were declared inadmissible by the Judicial Power. The bodies were buried clandestinely using lime to make it difficult to recognize them. The Barrientos and Tarazona brothers were detained and disappeared, mistreating their relatives harshly regardless of their condition.
