Swearing in of the new ministerial cabinet

On April 6, 1992, after the self-coup d'état of the previous day, the new ministerial cabinet, presided by Oscar de la Puente Raygada, was sworn in. This cabinet began its functions under the so-called "Government of Emergency and National Reconstruction".

On April 6, 1992, one day after the self-coup d'état perpetrated by President Alberto Fujimori Fujimori, the new ministerial cabinet was sworn in under the presidency of Oscar de la Puente Raygada. This cabinet assumes functions within the framework of the so-called "Emergency and National Reconstruction Government", after the dissolution of the National Parliament and the reorganization of the Judicial Power. In the first session of the ministerial cabinet, the new president of the Council of Ministers read the text of the first decree law of the regime, called "Ley de Bases del Gobierno de Emergencia y Reconstrucción Nacional", which instituted, among other things, the elaboration of a new Political Constitution.
