Murder of Andres Sosa by MRTA
On January 25, 1992, an MRTA commando assassinated Andres Sosa, former leader of Patria Libre, as he was boarding a public vehicle in Villa El Salvador, Lima.
An MRTA commando killed Andres Sosa, former leader of Patria Libre, as he was about to get into a public vehicle in Villa El Salvador. The attack was perpetrated by members of the Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement as part of their violent actions during that period. Sosa was a former political leader who had belonged to the Patria Libre organization. The murder occurred in the street, while the victim was going about his daily activities.
