Arbitrary execution of Rogelio Rubén Gallo Curi and Camilo Enrique Fernández
Alleged Shining Path militant and university student executed by order of military commander
On December 18, 1991, Rogelio Ruben Gallo Curi and university student Camilo Enrique Fernandez were murdered. Fernandez's body was found in Jr. Quinua, behind the university residence, with three bullet wounds to the head. Gallo Curi's body was in the sixth block of Jr. El Sol with two impacts to the head. Agent Carrion's diary mentions that they acted by order of the General Command of the Second Infantry Division. Gallo Curi had been imprisoned between 1987 and 1991 and was identified as a member of the PCP-SL.
