Eladio Avendaño Medrano, tortured, tortured and disappeared by Army helicopter in sanitary facilities
On September 23, 1991, members of the Army entered the home of Eladio Avendaño Medrano, a health worker at the Cachicoto health center. Dressed only in his underwear, he was forced to kneel, handcuffed and tortured. With the radio on at full volume, they cut off his ear and hit him with a shotgun. Finally he was put in a sack and tied with a rope. They put him in a helicopter. He has been missing ever since.
