Torture of Jaime Gustavo Rodriguez Credo and executions at military base

Jaime Gustavo Rodriguez tortured at Los Laureles base, released after payment, witnessed executions and dismemberments

On August 15, 1991, military personnel arrested Jaime Gustavo Rodriguez Credo in Tingo Maria and took him to military base 313 Los Laureles. He was tortured with blows, electricity and pliers for seven days. He witnessed executions of other detainees whose bodies were dismembered and thrown into the river. His mother paid 4,000 dollars for his release. Jaime Gustavo witnessed how two detainees were executed, dismembered and their remains thrown into the river before being released.
