Murder of teacher Francisco Solier García and his family

On July 19, 1991, university professor Francisco Solier García was assassinated along with his wife and son at his home by plainclothes soldiers using guns with silencers. The crime was part of covert military intelligence operations against the university community of Huamanga.

On July 19, 1991, at midday and in the center of the city of Huamanga, plainclothes soldiers carried out a covert operation in the home of university professor Francisco Solier Garcia. The professor was murdered along with his wife and son using weapons with silencers. This crime was part of a series of operations by groups linked to military intelligence services against members of the UNSCH university community. Two days after Solier's murder, the bodies of two obstetrics students who had been kidnapped a week earlier were found dead.
