Murder of nun Irene McCormack in Huasahuasi

Sister Irene McCormack was murdered along with four other people in Huasahuasi, Tarma, Junín. This multiple murder was perpetrated by the Shining Path as part of their campaign against pastoral agents and people linked to the Catholic Church. The nun worked in development projects with peasant communities.
