P. David Ritter Walker arrested in Nazca for supporting peasant claims.
David Ritter Walker, a U.S. citizen, was arrested by members of the Armed Forces after a violent raid on his home for supporting the demands of the peasants for better conditions for agriculture. Monsignor Guido Breña reacted in defense of Fr. Ritter with a communiqué and made representations to the authorities.
