Meeting of the Central Committee of Rondas Campesinas with General Luis Perez Documet
Meeting between the Central Committee of the Rondas Campesinas del Alto and Bajo Cunas and General EP Luis Pérez Documet, Chief of the Political Military Command of the Mantaro Front, in January 1991. This meeting was part of the coordination between the military forces and the Self-Defense Committees in the Junín region.
In January 1991, the Central Committee of the Rondas Campesinas of Alto and Bajo Cunas held a meeting with General EP Luis Pérez Documet, who was the Chief of the Political Military Command of the Mantaro Front. This meeting took place in the context of the organization and consolidation of the Self-Defense Committees in the Alto and Bajo Cunas area. The Central Committee had been formed in June 1990 under the presidency of Félix Damián Huaynalaya and had been sworn in by Colonel EP Espinoza in July of the same year. The meeting with General Perez Documet represented the coordination between the military forces and the peasant self-defense organizations in the counter-subversive struggle.
