The targets included the university residence, the university dining hall, the university health center, eleven transportation units and the printing press equipment. These attacks were part of a wave of violence against the university that intensified between 1989 and 1991. The perpetrators were considered to be paramilitary commandos or law enforcement agents in civilian clothes, in the context of a violence that affected the three university estates.
