Disappearance of Leonardo Jara in La Morada
Leonardo Jara mutilated and disappeared by Army troops at La Morada
On August 15, 1990, in La Morada, Leonardo Jara was intercepted by members of the Army. They held him down and cut his face and ear. They then took him to the Madre Mía military base in Nuevo Progreso and to this day he is still missing.
