Sexual violations and torture in Fuchungo

A group of ten soldiers under the command of a lieutenant arrived in Fuchungo and arrested several people. Sebastián Apfata Inga, his son Santiago Apfata Aroni and his wife Rosaura Aroni Álvarez were detained along with Aurelia Huamaní Apfata, Nicolás Apfata Inga and Marieta Gómez Huillca. They were all victims of cruel treatment, forced to strip naked and remain tied up. Santiago Apfata Aroni was tortured with puncture wounds. Aurelia Huamaní Apfata and Rosaura Aroni Álvarez were raped and intoxicated by the lieutenant and other subordinates.
