Chumbivilcas Massacre

Massacre perpetrated by the Peruvian Army in Chumbivilcas, Cusco, between April 19 and 30, 1990, which left 17 victims dead and in which sexual violations were committed against women who survived and denounced.

Between April 19 and 30, 1990, a massacre took place in Chumbivilcas, province of the department of Cusco, perpetrated by the Peruvian Army. Seventeen people died during this event. Women were victims of rape during the massacre. The rape victims survived and later denounced the facts to the corresponding authorities.
