PCP-SL assassinates mayor, judge and governor in attack on Layo
The PCP-SL attacked the district of Layo, province of Canas, assassinating Mayor Claudio Huilca, Judge Jorge Padín and Governor Benigno Paca. This multiple attack against local authorities is evidence of the PCP-SL's strategy to eliminate the presence of the State in rural areas.
