Murder of former aprista mayor of Colcabamba
A PCP-SL column assassinated the former APRA mayor of the district of Colcabamba (Tayacaja) in the district of Chilca, Huancayo, on March 28, 1990.
On March 28, 1990, a column of the PCP-SL (Shining Path) assassinated the former APRA mayor of the district of Colcabamba, province of Tayacaja, in the district of Chilca, Huancayo. This assassination occurred on the same day that the armed strike called by the PCP-SL for Lima failed. The former mayor belonged to the Peruvian Aprista Party (PAP) and had held office in Colcabamba, located in the province of Tayacaja, department of Huancavelica.
