Assassination of two FAMESA officials by the PCP-SL.
On February 20, 1990, the PCP-SL assassinated Juan Chacaltana and his assistant, two officials of FAMESA (Fábrica de Mechas S.A.), as part of its strategy of attacking company officials in charge of labor relations.
