Intelligence assessment of the electoral process
Military intelligence assessment concluding need for military intervention outside the democratic system
The coup plotters made an intelligence assessment in which they concluded that the forecasts on an electoral process, transfer of government and the next months of the new administration of the country within an orderly framework lack realism and could lead the Republic to the unleashing of a generalized social convulsion. They affirmed that only the forces of order in the political management of the State can guarantee the unity of the majority of the population outside the democratic system established in the Magna Carta.
