Army detains 12 people in Tambillo Grande, one found dead and several others missing
On February 7, 1990, 11 members of the Army entered the Tambillo Grande hamlet and detained 12 people, of whom the names of 6 are known, including a 14-year-old adolescent. Four of them were released. One of those identified was found dead on the banks of the Huallaga River; others remained missing.
