Third extraordinary legislature

Extraordinary session of the Peruvian Congress held on February 5 and 6, 1990 to discuss the demarcation of regions where popular consultations were held. It was part of the country's decentralization process.

The Peruvian Congress held its third extraordinary session on February 5 and 6, 1990. This special session was called specifically to deal with the demarcation of the regions where popular consultations had been held. The extraordinary legislature was part of the decentralization process that was being implemented in the country during the government of Alan García Pérez. This session was followed by a fourth extraordinary legislature that took place from February 12 to 22.
