Military base in Chacayán

In February 1990, a military base was installed in the Municipality of Chacayán with troops from the Goyllarisquizga Counter-Subversive Base, which operated until 1992.

In February 1990, a contingent of military personnel from the counter-subversive base in the district of Goyllarisquizga was installed in the Chacayán Municipality. This military base operated until 1992 as part of the State's counter-subversive strategy in the region. The installation of this base was part of the counter-subversive struggle in the department of Pasco, where the army had established multiple military bases since 1985 in various districts.
