Second meeting to organize peasant patrols in Alto and Bajo Cunas, with the incorporation of representatives from Chala Alta and San Pedro de Sulcán. It was part of the process of organizing Self-Defense Committees against the PCP-SL.

Second meeting for the organization of peasant patrols in the Alto and Bajo Cunas area. Representatives from the annexes of Chala Alta and San Pedro de Sulcán joined the community members from Quero, Santa Rosa de Huarmitá, San Roque de Huarmitá, Chaquicocha and Usibamba who had participated in the first meeting on December 22, 1989. This meeting was part of the process of organizing the Self-Defense Committees in response to the Shining Path violence in the area. The process continued with a third meeting in March where the Sector Presidents of Ronda de Quero, Jarpa, Chambará and Yanacancha were appointed.
