Rape at Hacienda Orihuela
An alleged female hiker was systematically raped by 60 soldiers at Hacienda Orihuela until she died in 1990. Her body was left swollen and bruised from the violence she suffered.
In 1990, in the Hacienda Orihuela of the Caserío de Punray, a woman was the victim of rape by approximately 60 soldiers. According to the testimony gathered by the CVR, the victim was a presumed Shining Pathist woman. The soldiers raped her systematically, one by one, until she was half dead and unconscious. Despite her condition, they continued raping her. When the woman finally died, her body was swollen and bruised. The soldiers showed no shame during these acts.
