Assassination of Godofredo Pablo Huamalí Meza

Godofredo Pablo Huamalí Meza was a teacher at the "General Córdova" National School in the district of Santa Ana de Tusi, province of Daniel Alcides Carrión. He was murdered in the city of Cerro de Pasco in 1990, where he was passing through. His death was part of the "annihilation" of local leaders from other districts who were passing through the capital city of the department. The execution was the responsibility of PCP-SL militants, who carried out attacks against public and private institutions, as well as the annihilation of local authorities and trade unionists in the city of Cerro de Pasco.
