Death of Guadalupe Ccallocunto Olano

Guadalupe Ccallocunto Olano was a leader of organizations or associations of family members and/or victims of violence in Ayacucho. She was murdered in 1990, presumably by Army agents. Her case is part of the register of women leaders killed and/or disappeared during the internal armed conflict in Peru. The murder occurred in a context where social leaders, especially women who worked with victims of violence, faced threats from both subversive groups and state forces.
