Attack on a camp in Iscozacín, Iscozacín.

Military patrols located and attacked an MRTA camp in a spot in the district of Iscozacin, located in the province of Oxapampa. The Army reported that 48 guerrillas and one soldier were killed during the confrontation. The subversive command did not reinforce the surveillance nor did they elaborate a defense or retreat plan in the face of evidence of the enemy prowling around the area.
