Multiple murders in Moya and Chopcca district
PCP-SL assassinates teacher, justice of the peace and seven community members in Moya and Chopcca
In the district of Moya, members of the PCP-SL murdered a teacher and a justice of the peace. In the district of Chopcca, a Shining Path detachment murdered Jose Soto, Guillermo Quispe, Domingo Taipe, Pablo Ataipoma and three unidentified community members. These murders were part of the PCP-SL's terror campaign against local authorities and villagers in Huancavelica.
