Extrajudicial executions in Pucará
Army patrols executed 8 people posing as MRTA members
A group made up of two Army patrols belonging to the Inclán anti-subversive battalion raided the district of Pucará pretending to be members of MRTA. They extrajudicially executed eight people: Paulino Cabezas Cóndor, Raúl Cabezas Cueva, Leoncio Orihuela Medrano, Máximo Pérez Ureta, Gladis Poma Vila, Madeleni Poma Vila, Isauro Valdez Rojas and Nilo Cayo Castillón Laveriano. The soldiers simulated a subversive action by detonating explosives and painting graffiti alluding to MRTA.
