Bodies of murdered students Abel Malpartida and Luis Alvarez found at Curayacu beach, San Bartolo
The newspapers reported the discovery of the bodies of two students from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUC), Abel Malpartida and Luis Alvarez, who had been murdered on Curayacu beach in the Lima district of San Bartolo. Likewise, the bodies of three other university students (Julio Alfredo Távara Reátegui, Sonia Quispe De La Cruz and Rodolfo Ibarra) who were last seen alive on the morning of July 26th, along with Abel Malpartida and Luis Alvarez, were found in different parts of the country. This event deeply affected Ernesto Castillo Paez, first cousin of Abel Malpartida.
