PCP-SL attacks police post in Acobamba killing 3 policemen after provoking a blackout
The PCP-SL attacked a police post in the district of Acobamba after blowing up an electrical tower that caused a blackout. During the attack, 3 policemen were killed. This attack was part of the Shining Path strategy to weaken police presence in rural areas of Huancavelica.
