Disappearance of three key witnesses 21 days after the first abduction
During the night of June 21, 1989, 21 days after the disappearance of Haro Cruz and Mautino Camones, three key witnesses to the events disappeared: siblings Ramón, Catalina and Fernando Robles Figueroa. According to the testimony of Juana Mercedes Guerrero León, several hooded men armed with shotguns arrived and took the three siblings away. Ramón and Catalina were taken from their house, while Fernando, husband of the witness, was taken from her house. These witnesses had witnessed the arrest on April 29.
