Ad-Hoc Prosecutor issues report confirming disappearance of 7 people after military intervention
The Board of Superior Prosecutors of Junin appointed an Ad-Hoc Prosecutor who issued Report No. 02-MP-FSAH-Junin on preliminary investigations carried out regarding the disappearance of people from the district of Huertas as a consequence of the military confrontation with a subversive group. The report confirms that army soldiers intervened the inhabitants on April 28, 1989 and transferred them to the Teodoro Peñalosa Barracks, without their whereabouts being known up to the date of the report.
