Burial of soldiers killed in Molinos confrontation
Six Peruvian Army soldiers killed in the Molinos confrontation were buried on April 29, 1989. Three were buried in the "El Angel" cemetery and the other three were transferred to their places of origin (Cuzco, Jauja and Chiclayo).
On April 29, 1989, the six soldiers of the Peruvian Army killed in the Molinos confrontation the day before were buried. The remains of infantry lieutenant Jhonny Morales Rodriguez, sergeant Yuri Portocarrero and corporal Ulises Rivera Flores were buried in the "El Angel" cemetery. The cortege was presided over by the president of the Joint Command of the Armed Forces, Artemio Palomino Toledo. The other three soldiers were transferred in FAP planes to their places of birth: Staff Sergeant Ladislao Choque Enriquez was buried in Cuzco, Hernan Camavilca in Jauja and Jorge Flores Papuchi in Chiclayo.
