Interpellation to Villanueva's cabinet

Interpellation of Prime Minister Armando Villanueva del Campo's cabinet before the Chamber of Deputies, where he had to answer more than ninety questions on the economic crisis and the situation of political violence in the country.

On April 26, 1989, the cabinet headed by Prime Minister Armando Villanueva del Campo was questioned before the Chamber of Deputies. The cabinet had to answer a list of more than ninety questions. This interpellation took place in the context of the economic crisis and the situation of political violence that the country was going through, particularly after the Uchiza case occurred in March of that year. Days before, on April 13, Prime Minister Villanueva had already appeared before Congress together with his cabinet to respond on the issues of economic crisis and subversion.
